so, yes, my kids outgrew sippy cups years ago.
but when i saw these all over pinterest,
i wondered why. in. the. world. i hadn’t done this before!
we drink out of mason jars already.
wide mouth.
big and small.

and this morning when the kids were in the basement
asking if we could please make kool aid
and i was imagining more spilled kool aid
in our already struggling basement…
i was inspired.
with a quick jaunt to the shop
i drilled holes in the lids
pressed down the sharp ends
remembered that we didn’t have any straws
remembered that we have several straws from our camelbak water bottles
stuck a straw in the hole
realized that it was the perfect size
realized that unless it is pulled on with all my might, that straw won’t move
realized that makes this whole thing perfect.
perfect for blue kool aid.
made with stevia instead os sugar.
why do i always feel so sneaky with that one?
Where would one get that Stevia? I use Stevia in the Raw in my tea, but sometimes it just doens’t dissolve so nicely. Liquid drops would be great for that!

I am going to try the liquid stevia. I like the other stuff, but have also noticed that it doesn’t desolve as well. I love your jars! I think the kids would too. Nice going!

As for the stevia, when I was at a food coop in Minneapolis, there were so many varieties of liquid stevia it was mind spinning. All of a sudden I recognized the brand Kristin had in her previous Kool-Aid post. Decision done! ;)
