we waited and eventually lit all four candles, finished the chocolates in the advent calendar, opened each advent box, and had a little family christmas before heading off to chicago.  we’re moving into the season of the new year.

the kids got a “crayon maker”  as a group gift.  it grabbed the attention of several at a time.  eliza thought it was magic, naomi was working at getting the perfect blend of colors, jerry approached it with  the eye and attitude of teacher.

meanwhile, micah started and finished his new lego set.

eager to start fresh again.
