naomi and some friends from church have been dreaming and scheming this dance party for weeks.  i wasn’t sure we’d pull it off.  but, oh, we did.

complete with stage, mirrors, colored hairspray, a disco ball, twinkly lights, koolaid and sherbet drinks, a pot luck, wild dance clothes, and music chosen by the kids (except for a few highjacks).

a microphone was available.  that added a “nice” extra bit of sound.

let me tell you, there was some serious girl energy going on.  i was sore the next day. (most of) the boys pulled their weight, too!

a highlight was definitely a skype in from colombia.

way to go, girls.  you did it!
