how about some trips down memory lane? kind of like looking through an old photo album? here we have a sunday 2 years ago:
— — — — — —
i knew we were livin’ it when we didn’t even know what time it was…
we rode bike to church, had an incredibly rich morning with reminders to notice god among us, had common meal with corn on the cob and fancy cake, then stopped for refreshment on the way home.
part of what i took from the messages this morning is to let myself be filled by what is around me…that if i am satisfied by the joy that god gives, if i am stunned by the mystery of god’s power, if i am sobered by the horrors that exist alongside the beauty, if i am settled in simply being, i won’t need to look beyond what is here.
i kept noticing the reds and yellows completed by the bright blue yonder…
thanks, oh thanks be to god.
I found you through the comment on my blog, thanks.
I have to say, this is beautiful,

I’m going to have to remember that :)

Sounds like a perfect morning.
There is nothing like those moments when God and all His wonder is so present….I love it when that happens!
