there are many moments of this outing that make me giggle when i remember them (a teenager swimming around the fishing poles, jerry and i being the cranky ones who needed to eat, having a picnic in the middle of a nearly deserted small town, bathroom needs that were met in creative ways…).  too bad my camera battery ran out after only a few shots.  it was a fun time with friends.  adults greatly outnumbered by kids.  water play in the most amazing place of kansas that i have been to.

this sight in the middle of the prairie reminds me that there is so much more than us.
