when an entire container of powder make up is spilled on a rug, then taken to the laundry basket in the bathroom, then picked up by the child whose chore it is to take laundry to the basement, the entire room is filled with “fairy dust.”
i’m sure it landed everywhere, but it was so fine that it wasn’t obvious.
the pictures don’t really do justice to the shimmering air that was.
