my first born is eleven. my last born is four. i was in labor on naomi’s seventh birthday…changing plans as labor progressed…trying to learn the dance of sharing the experiences…we’re still learning that dance. we were blessed with all four grandparents here and are eager to celebrate with friends later this week. for now it was bowling, eating, singing, eating, opening presents, eating…
and at 4:20 this afternoon i woke up and snuck to get the camera. you can see where i was. all 5 of us plus sally slept for over 2 hours.
happy birth days indeed.
I love the pic of you and Naomi — I can see that one being treasured for years and years to come.
And the family “kittie pile” (as we used to call it in our house) looks wonderful and restful! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

that nap looks much better than mine today…when i woke up all in a huff and came storming out shouting “STOP BOUNCING THAT BALL!!!” and took the ball and shut the door back by myself.
