micah remains facisnated with native american culture…when we were in the herb garden today and he said that the sage reminded him of thanksgiving i told him sage is also used in smudge sticks. on went the conversation and the string finding. we snipped leaves and rolled it up.

then i went on line to find out how to do it “for real.” there i read that certain kinds of sage can result in severe allergic reactions. hmmm. not what we want. but i also read that lavendar is a great alternative.

so more snipping and rolling and tying…

we have a special little friend who will receive this purple gift once in dries in a couple of weeks.
