i am so excited to watch my preschoolers open and close this mailbox when they bring back their valentine for our exchange…for when they do, they will see the sweetest valentine of all…themselves!
after i put the mirror in and showed naomi, she said…”i could do things like that if i had my own collection of stuff to use.” i bet she could.
i think i need to give her a shelf.

Man I loved making those boxes. In second grade I made a “fancy lady” out of a big plastic jug. She held a sign that said “Will you be my Valentine?” and when you put the valentine in the slot it hit a trigger wire inside and she nodded her head. I worked for weeks. Can you picture me??
