there is nothing like a puppy
to urge us to live in the moment…
i need help getting past sally
so i can get dressed…
sally needs to go out to pee…
if you don’t take the laundry
down, sally will chew it up…
sally needs to go outside…
(which means we all go outside)

it is an opportunity
to deal with the happenings
of now.

like grabbing the camera so
we won’t forget sally’s
fetal-position huge
puppy paws all clumped
together…

p.s. after lunch naomi proclaimed that today is “definitely better” than yesterday…. : )
