we had a very special day and a half together…
a trip to the zoo, celebrating opa’s birthday,
taking the kids to bible school, helping me get
ready to teach a summer camp, watching
eliza while jerry worked, picnic supper, lunch out,
family slide show…

and the traditional “smudge for the visit”
which started when naomi was little and means the kids can
smudge opa’s glasses with anything they want as long as it won’t scratch…
